Account Information

When you sign in via Discord, we collect your Discord username, display name, avatar, and Discord user ID. We do not access your Discord messages, friends list, or servers.

Voting Data

When you vote for a server, we collect a hashed version of your IP address and the Minecraft username you provide. IP hashes are used solely for vote cooldown enforcement and cannot be reversed to reveal your actual IP address.

Server Data

We collect publicly available information from Minecraft servers including player counts, server software, version, MOTD, and online status. Player names visible on servers are collected as part of our tracking service.

Analytics Data

We use Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights to collect anonymous usage data including page views, performance metrics, browser type, and general geographic location. This data is aggregated and cannot identify individual users.

Automatically Collected Data

Our servers automatically log standard request information including IP addresses, browser user agents, and request timestamps. This data is used for security, rate limiting, and abuse prevention.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To provide and maintain the Service, including server listings and statistics.
  • To authenticate users and manage accounts via Discord OAuth.
  • To enforce vote cooldowns and prevent vote manipulation.
  • To track server statistics, player activity, and historical data.
  • To prevent abuse, spam, and unauthorized access.
  • To improve the Service based on aggregated usage patterns.
  • To communicate with you about your account or listed servers.

3. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with:

  • Vercel: Our hosting provider, which processes requests and provides analytics.
  • Discord: For OAuth authentication (only the data you authorize).
  • Law enforcement: When required by law or to protect our legal rights.

Server statistics, player names, and plugin data collected from public Minecraft servers are displayed publicly on the platform as part of the Service.

4. Cookies & Local Storage

We use the following storage mechanisms:

  • Session cookies: To maintain your authentication state.
  • Local storage: To store vote cooldown timestamps and UI preferences.
  • Analytics cookies: Vercel Analytics uses cookies to measure site performance and usage.

No third-party advertising cookies are used on the Service.

5. Data Retention

We retain data for different periods depending on the type:

  • Account data: Retained until you delete your account or request removal.
  • Vote records: Retained indefinitely as part of server rankings.
  • Server statistics: Historical data is retained indefinitely to provide long-term tracking.
  • IP hashes: Vote-related IP hashes are retained for the duration of the cooldown period (24 hours), then only the hashed version is kept for abuse prevention.
  • Server logs: Automatically deleted after 30 days.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction or deletion of your personal data.
  • Request removal of your server listing at any time.
  • Request removal of your Minecraft username from our player tracking database.
  • Opt out of analytics tracking by using browser-level "Do Not Track" settings.

7. Security

We implement reasonable security measures to protect your data, including IP hashing, rate limiting, geo-blocking of malicious traffic, and encrypted connections (HTTPS). However, no method of transmission over the Internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
